It’s the fortunate reality of our job that we get to share in the lead up to and excitement of one of the most significant and happy days of our client’s lives. We can’t help but be affected by all the anticipation and emotion of the big day. While our role is to blend into the background, a wedding photographer will end up spending the most amount of time with the bride and groom on their wedding day – even more than family and friends. So when we form a friendship with our clients, like we have with Josh + Tayla, it makes this process and their wedding day even more special.
Josh + Tayla’s wedding was full of fun. The day got off to a festive start with the groom’s family travelling to the bride’s house with traditional Lebanese drummers before the ceremony. These high school sweethearts then exchanged their vows in a spiritual service at All Saints Anglican Church in Petersham.
Tayla’s elegant custom gown by Suzanna Blazevic Couture was the perfect match to her husband’s dapper suit by Alex Goodman. These two looked incredible on location at Jones Bay Wharf in Sydney and their love for each other is reflected in every shot.
Our couple enjoyed a reception at The Lemnos Club, which was lavishly decorated in sparkling candlelight and flowers by event styling extraordinaire, Anna Wang. The merging of Lebanese and Chilean cultures accentuated the amazing energy brought by their family and friends, as traditional drummers and dancers ramped up the crowd.
