“Seeing two people who we love and know are perfect for each other get married – and to be able to give them the gift of capturing their special memories – was one of our great joys.”

Tomislav + Antonia’s wedding was a special one for us as Antonia is Mark’s youngest sister.  Our lovely couple endured a long distance relationship to begin with as Tomislav is from Melbourne originally. However, the silver lining in the difficulty of commuting across states to see each other was their early realisation that they were meant to be together forever.

The day incorporated traditional Croatian elements, as our groom travelled with his family and friends, many of which had come from Melbourne, to the bride’s home, where the bride was presented after some playful bartering while traditional Croatian music played.

Tomislav + Antonia exchanged their vows in front of their loved ones at St Nikola Tavelic Croatian Church in St Johns Park. Our bride and groom wanted something chic and fashion forward for their wedding photographs, and so we used locations including Tank Stream Lane, which has an industrial, New York-style vibe, and the Bvlgari Doors, with its European feel.

It was our pleasure and honour to capture this day for two very special people who we love, surrounded by our family who spent the evening celebrating and dancing at Albert Palais wedding reception in Leichhardt.
