On Sunday 27 August, we had the pleasure of witnessing the joy of Scott + Rachel say ‘I do’. Our bride Rachel was radiant in her Madi Lane gown from Luv Bridal in Chatswood. During the bride prep, Rachel’s mum was caught shedding a tear as she watched her daughter get ready with the help of hairdresser Melissa Hope and makeup artist Cristina Cleary. Tough Italian dad Tony couldn’t help but poke a bit of a fun at his wife, but little did he know he too would get emotional during his speech later in the evening as he spoke fondly of his daughter.
Scott + Rachel enjoyed a beautiful ceremony at Monte Sant’Angelo Chapel in North Sydney. Everyone knows we love to see a groom tear up when he sees his bride and Scott didn’t disappoint. His happy smile at Rachel being handed over at the alter and their excitement at being pronounced husband + wife was lovely to capture.
Scott + Rachel opted for an afternoon reception which was the perfect way for their guests to get the most of the waterfront views and sunset at Orso Bayside Reception. Rachel showed off her many talents, having made all of the table runners, as well as the wedding cake! In fact, Scott noted in his speech that if you’re planning a wedding, you need to get yourself a Rachel (and we’d have to agree).
