“I can’t help falling in love with you”
Alex + Rose met online and have been together for six years. Two years ago, Alex + Rose took a holiday for New Year in Jervis Bay. Rose says:
“Alex’s parents were only going to be coming up for the day so he got me to “decide” to show them some of our favourite beaches there. It was raining that day so we decided to go for a walk from Greenfield beach to Hyams beach and then go out to lunch after… well I thought I decided but Alex had manipulated me to make this plan up. All the kids drove down first and the parents were going to meet us afterwards. We walked out to the beach, it was a little overcast but the water looked so clear still. My sister and her husband got me to take a photo of them. Alex planned this knowing me I would get FOMO and want to take one too. He was saying to me we should take a photo with the trees in the background instead of having the water. I fell for his distraction and looked in the direction he pointed to trying to figure out what fascinated him so much about the trees when the water was such a beautiful background. My brother then proceeded to pick up a large rock and start squatting with it. I was so confused. I turned around to see Alex down on one knee. I stood in shock for at least a full minute before I said ‘Yes’!”
Alex + Rose were excited to plan and celebrate their wedding day… and then relax when it was all done! They had a beautiful ceremony at Our Lady of Victories in Horsley Park. Following the Ceremony, we took our bridal party for a Sydney photoshoot before their reception at Doltone House Sylvania Waters. Everyone was excited to enjoy a magnificent evening and celebrate the newlyweds!
