“Where you are is where I want to be”
Charlie + Daniela met at the Head & Tails bar in London in January 2020. They fell in love and almost two years later, Charlie planned a surprise gin tour at a lovely bar in London where he popped the question with a glass of champagne (with the ring inside!) However, it didn’t go over as smoothly as planned. Daniela says: “The filled champagne flute was handed to me and I had no clue the ring was inside until Charlie subtly tried to point it out!”
Charlie + Daniela were officially married in the UK but planned a separate celebration to share with their family + friends in Sydney. The plan was for an intimate and relaxed – yet fancy – lunch, to allow their families to enjoy quality time together and create special memories. Many guests on Charlie’s side travelled from Cornwall to Sydney to meet and Daniela was excited to see her own friends + family, some of whom she she hadn’t had an opportunity to spend time with since moving abroad.
All events took place at The Grounds of Alexandria, which had the perfect vibe for these two to celebrate and catch up with their nearest and dearest.
