“I couldn’t imagine my life without you in it”
Christian + Tania met through mutual friends in high school and quickly learned that they live 2 minutes from one another. They went from shy bus stop smiles on the way to school in the morning to planning their wedding years later.
After 4 years of dating, Christian suggested a Sunday drive to Crooked River Wines in Gerringong. Tania was used to their usual Sunday drives however noticed that Christian was being quite fussy with their arrival time. As they arrived at Gerringong, he insisted on putting petrol in the car before they went to lunch which also seemed a bit strange. He went in to pay for the petrol, for what felt like an eternity. Little did Tania know that Christian had organised a proposal planner to set the scene for their arrival and needed to kill some time. As they entered Crooked River Winery, it started to rain and wait staff provided them with an umbrella to be led to their table outside of the restaurant. Tania was confused as to why they were out walking in the rain up a grass hill but she was then met with an amazing private setting, overlooking the vineyards and styled to perfection. The waitress handed Tania a letter and Christian led her to a beautiful flower arch. It was pouring rain, the song ‘Marry Me – Train’ played in the background. Tania says, “my heart raced as I finished reading the words ‘I couldn’t image my life without you in it’. I found Christian down on one knee asking me to spend the rest of my days as his wife. It was our very own Notebook moment. He really did think of everything. It was nothing short of perfect!”
Christian + Tania planned their wedding amidst the chaos of Covid-19 with the focus on walking down the aisle to each other and finally getting married. The did just that with a beautiful ceremony at their local parish, Our Lady of Victories in Horsley Park. Following this, we took our bridal party for a Sydney photoshoot in The Rocks before their reception at Le Montage. With Covid restrictions easing they were able to enjoy their night with guests on the dance floor, partying to the tunes of seven piece band, Top Shelf Live.
