“Well, in my eyes, you are perfect, as you are”

Giorgio and Ana met on Bumble and it was love from the get go. Ana says:

“I stumbled across George’s profile and thought to myself he looks like a really nice guy so I swiped right (George loves this story). We were talking constantly for a few weeks, it honestly felt like we knew each other for years. George asked me out to dinner one night (he booked it like 2-3 weeks in advance because he was that nervous) and took me to Meat & Wine Co in Barangaroo. I remember coming home that night and calling my sister and saying, “If it doesn’t work with George, it won’t work with anyone”. My sister told me I was being dramatic but I just knew I found the one”

George obviously thought so too because 1.5 years later he had a special surprise in store. Ana thought they were taking her nephew to the Aquarium with her sister and brother in law, however they were running late. When her sister got there, she said she might feed her nephew before going in and Ana had zero patience as they had already waited 1.5 hours. George insisted he and Ana go for a walk and after many protests, Ana finally agreed. George said he needed to ask her a question and got down on one knee. Ana’s bad mood disappeared instantly. The Aquarium visit was just a ruse for George’s plan which was a family lunch back where they had their first date to celebrate their engagement!

Ana and George planned their wedding, Ana excited to see George at the end of the aisle. George was, “looking forward to finally being able to call this person my wife, not just my soul mate and best friend. To be able to enjoy such a beautiful and happy day surrounded by all the people who mean the most to us”.

Following a beautiful ceremony at St Nikola Tavelic in St Johns Park, our bridal party then headed to Marble Bar for location (and a well deserved beverage) before their reception at King Tom Club which was beautifully transformed with black draping, fairy lights and gorgeous florals. With MC Elvis on the mic, and tunes all night from Prva Liga and DJ Angelo, the party did not stop!
