“I want nothing at all, if it ain’t you, baby”

Harley and Toni-lee met through mutual friends although didn’t hit it off straight away. The first time Harley saw Toni he thought she’d snub his advances but the next time they met at a party, he realised she was very easy going and he slid into her DMs less than 24 hours later. His Facebook name was Charlie Brown (a nickname) and for the first few months of getting to know each other, Toni called Harley ‘Charlie’. They saw each other again at a backyard 18th party and after a full night of flirting, they shared their first kiss. Toni was telling her mum about ‘Charlie’ and how much he liked him, joking that his only flaw was that she didn’t love the name ‘Charlie’. A few days went by and Harley decided it was time to expand their social connections and added Toni to his snapchat with the user name ‘Harley’ and she found out his real name, to her surprise!

They fell in love and had a baby girl, Alyrah. At Christmas 2020, Harley took Toni and Alyrah out to Auburn Botanical Gardens to see the flowers. Toni admits to being irritable the whole time – she was bedridden sick only a few days prior and had no idea what Harley had planned. Her annoyance grew as they passed a few kids playgrounds on the way and Toni wanted to stop to let Alyrah play but Harley convinced her that there was parks at the Gardens. They got there and went to the pond to see some ducks, meanwhile a photographer was floating around taking photos of the signs which Harley joked about. He finally got down on one knee with the ring, and the photographer came to capture the moment. It wasn’t the perfect proposal but it was true to life with kids – their daughter finding it the perfect time to throw a tantrum while Harley + Toni smiled for the camera.

Harley + Toni exchanged their vows at City Beach in Wollongong. They had a happy entourage of friends and family in their bridal party and we went on a location shoot around Wollongong before celebrating with their nearest and dearest.
