“I give my hand to you with all my heart”

Jonathan + Vanessa first met through Jonathan’s cousins and a bit of Facebook friending later, they got to know one another and fell in love. Six years later and they were celebrating Vanessa’s birthday with her family in the Hunter Valley. Vanessa says:

“We had planned to visit a few Vineyards, which had been specifically planned by my sister in law (I now know why!). One vineyard in particular had a beautiful lake and we were taken to a private area of the vineyard. As Jono predicted, I immediately demanded we take a photo in front of the lake. As soon as we we took the photo, he then turned around and got down on one knee with the ring. It caught me by surprise! However that wasn’t the only surprise, seconds later I see his family coming out, who then also stayed the night with us and we had a celebratory dinner, breakfast and lunch together, followed by a hot air balloon ride the following day”.

Jonathan + Vanessa were excited to finally see their two families come together in celebration of their love. They enjoyed a beautiful ceremony at St Mary’s Cathedral, both looking forward to the moment of saying “I do”. We took our bridal party for photos around the city before their reception at Novella on the Park in Abbotsbury. The room was beautifully styled by Anna Wang and guests were treated to a fun night with lots of dancing.
