“Right beside you is where I belong, from this moment on”

Joseph + Natalie met at Joseph’s year 12 formal. Six years later and they were planning a lunch at Quay to celebrate Joseph’s graduation from his Engineering degree. After several hours enjoying their lunch, Joseph received a call from his dad urgently requesting he pick up keys from his sister who was at Observatory Hill for a picnic and bring them home. Joseph’s sister Serena had even posted snaps of her ‘picnic’ on her Insta Stories, so Natalie had no idea. While they were a bit upset to be cutting their date short, they made their way to Observatory Hill and Joseph found parking very quickly which is when Natalie started to get suss. Natalie says:

“When Joseph first asked me to be his girlfriend and he and I first started dating he had a strange technique when he started counting his fingers while he rambled off to say he was counting how many weeks we had known each other, I would tease him about it til this day. On the day of the proposal once we got out of the car and started to approach the pathway to the gazebo he started to count his fingers and I instantly knew what was happening, I fell straight to the floor in tears!!! Still the happiest day of my life to date”

Joseph + Natalie were most looking forward to being married. While the lead up was certainly tense – navigating lock downs and changing restrictions – they finally made it!

Joseph + Natalie said their vows at Our Lady of Victories, Horsley Park and their smiles and happiness at becoming husband + wife was truly special. We went for our bridal party portraits around The Rocks as well as the beautiful grounds of the heritage castle of Sydney wedding reception venue, Curzon Hall.  The reception styling was the proud work of Melissa D’Cruz Florals and blew everyone away!

The night was led by MC Robert Galati. As a family tradition, Joseph’s grandfather performed a song for the newlyweds and guests partied the night away filled with the warmth of two beautiful families coming together.
