“I’m so enraptured, got me wrapped up in your touch”

Marko + Rebecca met while both were working at their local RSL. Love ensued and 4 years later, they found themselves in a long distance relationship for a year whilst Marko was working in New Zealand. Rebecca went over to visit for a 2 week camper van trip around the South Island. One morning while Rebecca was driving the van, Marko suggested they pull over to enjoy the amazing view at Lake Pukaki. Marko started playing with his drone (secretly setting up to capture the proposal!) then reached into his bag and was rummaging around for what felt like forever. Bec thought Marko was looking for a tissue, but was shocked to then see him on one knee proposing with a gorgeous diamond ring! They spent the rest of the day hiking in the rain with zero reception enjoying the special moment to themselves before telling all their family and friends.

They planned their wedding through the uncertainty of changing Covid restrictions but were fortunate that the rules relaxed to allow them dancing in time for their wedding. They said their vows at St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Ryde. They were after a relaxed and easy photoshoot with a bar stop so we headed to a few places that combined their love of buildings and urban settings.

Marko + Rebecca enjoyed a beautiful reception at Lemnos Club. There was lots of love in the room, which was special for Marko + Rebecca who were most looking forward to dancing the night away with their friends and family.
