“I wanna stay with you until we’re grey and old, just say you won’t let go”

Michael + Kristina met at Establishment Bar in 2016 and fell in love. After 4 years together, Michael planned the perfect proposal. He says:

“I took Kristina for a drive and told her we are having a day off work. I didn’t tell her where we were going but took her to the Hunter Valley Gardens. I had planned for a picnic set up in a quiet location in the Gardens (which she had no idea about). In the meantime, my friend drove all the way up from Sydney to capture the moment on video and setup some background music for when I proposed. I had “Everything” by Michael Buble playing in the background whilst I got on one knee and popped the question. It was a really special moment for us and this song now has extra special meaning whenever we hear it”

They celebrated in the ultimate way by getting married twice in one day! Their first celebration was a Catholic ceremony at St Benedict’s Chapel in Smithfield and their second was a Greek Orthodox ceremony at St Gerasimo’s Greek Orthodox Church in Leichhardt.

Kristina was a radiant bride in her stunning Couture by Francesca gown, and Michael teared up seeing her at the alter for the first time.

Our newlyweds and their bridal party enjoyed a photo session around the city and Observatory Hill, even stopping into The Establishment where they first met. We had dynamic and interesting light, which created a romantic mood. It really was picture perfect.

Michael + Kristina celebrated their Sydney wedding reception at Navarra’s Conca D’oro lounge in Riverwood, beautifully decorated by Romantika Floral & Events Styling.
