“Even when the sun don’t shine, I got faith in you and I”

Paul + Anne went to the same primary school, although they were 3 grades apart. They would often bump into each other in their 20s. One day, they saw each other randomly on their lunch break at Wollongong Mall and started talking that night on social media. Anne says, “we haven’t stopped talking since”.

Three years later and they planned a getaway to Queensland for a week, although they had always said and agreed they would not get engaged on a holiday. They took an early flight and once checked into the hotel, Anne took a nice long nap, completely oblivious. This gave Paul time to get organised. Paul tried to wake Anne from her nap which proved difficult as she loves her sleep. Finally, he was able to persuade her to go downstairs for coffee. She got up and started getting ready and Paul played their favourite love song and they started dancing. It was in that moment that he dropped on one knee!

Paul + Anne planned their wedding, excited to celebrate with the people they love most as well as bind their commitment in the best way possible by saying “I do”…twice! They exchanged vows at Edmund Rice Chapel as well as Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, everyone so excited to see these two pronounced ‘husband + wife’. Our newlyweds enjoyed a photoshoot around Wollongong before their reception at The Grange.
