“Find someone who’ll be there for you, because that’s all that really matters in the end”
Paul + Marie met on Instagram and have been together for 4 years. In April 2022, Paul and Marie went to lunch to celebrate their birthdays. Marie says:
“Paul had been giving out hints leading up to the day and I definitely had my suspicions however, I was thrown off leading to the moment. It was around sunset, we arrived in my driveway and I look to my right and all these sparkly fairy lights switch on in my front garden and I immediately was caught off guard and of course burst into tears of happiness. Paul went down on one knee (very emotional) and asked me to marry him! All of a sudden both my dogs run out with matching scarfs saying “She said Yes”. It made me cry with joy even more. I look up and both our families come out of the house, some were hiding behind the plants, it was such a special moment. We later celebrated with our family at my place with cute cake and lots of photos”
Paul + Marie planned their wedding, excited to celebrate with the people they love most. They exchanged vows at St Gertrude’s Parish in Smithfield, witnessed by their happy family and friends, all excited to see these two say ‘I do’. Our newlyweds enjoyed a photoshoot around the city before their reception at Doltone House Hyde Park.
