“Darling, darling, stand by me”

Phillip + Madalyn met via their mutual friend Katerina. They fell in love and 6 yeas later, Phillip made it official with a beautiful proposal. Phillip says:

“I booked The Langham and had my brother and mate set up the whole hotel. I had told Madalyn that we were going out to dinner to celebrate our anniversary and told Madalyn that we are going to stay in a hotel in the city so we can have drinks and not worry about getting home. I’m a terrible liar as well as her mother but we both pulled it off and she had no idea. Once I opened the door it was a runway of candles that led to the balcony which had the sign ready, when she read it and began to turn around, I was already down on one knee ready to ask the question”

They went about wedding planning, but with the second lockdown, they needed to move their wedding to ensure a restriciton-free party, which paid off despite the extra wait.

Phillip + Madalyn were married in a traditional ceremony at Macedonian Orthodox Church of Saints Kiril & Metodi in Rosebery, with both looking forward to the moment they were finally announced husband and wife. We then headed to the city for their photoshoot before a beautiful reception at Aqua Luna in Drummoyne where guests partied all night!
