“Oh darling, I’m with you”

Reilly + Ashleigh first met through mutual friends as teenagers. It was a chance, one-off meeting and they didn’t see each other again for at least seven years when another mutual friend mentioned Reilly’s name to Ashleigh. They got back in touch and their friendship grounds merged over time. In 2017, they went for a getaway to Callala Beach and spent a lot of time hanging out by the pool together. It was after that trip that they started hanging out by themselves and since then, became inseparable.

That was 4 years ago, and since that time, Reilly + Ashleigh have also welcomed a beautiful son, Mason, into the world. On Christmas Eve, they were preparing for their first Christmas together, so excited for Mason to see the tree and all his presents. Ashleigh had just taken a shower and was about to relax in front of the TV when Reilly surprised her by popping the question. Ashleigh says, “It actually caught me completely off guard, I had no clue and I just was so excited, except for the fact that I was sitting with soaking wet hair!”

Reilly + Ashleigh busily planned their March wedding, excited to celebrate their love and officially become The Saphins. They celebrated with a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Gibsons Beach Reserve in Vaucluse, surrounded by the happiness of their friends and family. After a wet week, we were blessed with the perfect conditions for their photoshoot around Watsons Bay and they partied the night away at their reception at Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel.
