“Whatever our souls are made of, hers and mine are the same”
Robert + Sarah met 7 years ago as members of a Croatian folklore group. After 2 years of dating, they planned a New Year getaway down the South Coast. Rob went to lengths to ensure his plan did not arouse any suspicion. Sarah says:
“I was pretty suspicious because Rob is a bad liar (I recall the day he picked up the ring!). Our proposal photos are pretty terrible (not due to our photographer Antonia) – it was extremely windy and we were both in the daggiest clothes! As a lover of comfy clothes, Rob couldn’t put nice attire on for fear of arousing suspicion! And Sarah was wearing her chunky Birkenstocks and had the worst case of beach hair! But it didn’t matter, we were pretty ecstatic”
Robert + Sarah were married at St Nikola Tavelic Croatian Catholic Church in St Johns Park. Following the Ceremony, our team went around Parramatta for photos before their beautiful reception at Doltone House, Marconi Club.
