“They say nothing lasts forever, but they ain’t seen us together or the way the moonlight dances in your eyes”

Scott + Melani had a chance meeting at a Stereosonic music festival when Scott lost his friends and ended up partying with Mel. They never exchanged details but both happened to post a photo with the hashtag “#stereosonic” and found each other online! They have since been to over 20 music festivals together – even internationally – before the world changed.

After a couple of years, Scott decided the time was right to propose to Mel and took her for an early morning hike to Mermaid Pools. They got to the end – Mel completely oblivious to what was happening – and there was a man camping in the spot where Scott wanted to propose. He couldn’t wait and ended up proposing anyway and it was a happy “YES” from Mel!

Fast forward to 2021, and the moment they have been waiting for: Melani walking down the aisle, and then being pronounced husband + wife. This all took place in a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony at Our Lady of Victories in Horsley Park. We then took our newlyweds for photography around their venue, Ottimo House, using their gorgeous grounds before settling in to their reception. Scott + Melani endured a tumultuous lead up to their wedding with changing Covid restrictions but managed to score a completely unrestricted wedding which meant lots of dancing for this festival loving couple, including some amazing serenades by MC Jacob Hacklany with the golden voice.
