“There goes my heart beating, ’cause you are the reason”

Steven + Anna are high school sweethearts, coming up to 9 years of dating! In 2020 and on their anniversary, Steven planned dinner and a night out in the city. It wasn’t anything unusual because the date fell between their birthdays and they would often plan something nice around that time. Anna says: “On the day Steven just said I had to be dressed ready to go at 5pm, we’d stop off at the hotel, drop our bags then go for dinner. He hadn’t told me yet where we were going so it was all a surprise. That afternoon we pulled into the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney. We checked in and made our way up to the room. Before I entered he asked me to cover my eyes and at this stage I was thinking could this be it? after almost 8 years! (We had also done quite a few little trips away throughout the year which each occasion having me think could this be it?! So I didn’t want to get my hopes up). As he then guided me into the room I opened my eyes and there was a beautiful rose petal walkway with photo’s of us over the years up to balloons and even more roses spelling will you marry me. How could I say no! One of our favourite songs was playing in the background, a beautiful view over Sydney harbour and our own private photographer there to capture the moment”.

Steven + Anna were excited to become husband + wife, with Steven looking forward to the moment he saw Anna as a bride on the day. They had a beautiful ceremony at the Anglican Parish of Hunters Hill, surrounded by their nearest and dearest to witness them making the most important commitment of their lives.

For our location photos, we took our bride + groom to Balmoral and Bradleys Head. From there, we went to Sergeants Mess for their reception where they partied the night away.
