“All you need is love”

Bianka knew Steven’s family for a long time but he was playing football overseas in Croatia so they did not properly meet until they both attended his sisters 21st birthday party. They started talking and a month later Steven invited Bianka to watch him play a soccer game in Newcastle. They began a long distance relationship as Bianka was living in Sydney and Steven was in Newcastle. 

Three and a half years later and they were meant to be going out for dinner in the city with Steven’s brother and sister and their partners. Bianka went to Steven’s house with her family as Bianka’s parents were meant to catch up with Steven’s parents for an early Christmas lunch. As they got there Steven took Bianka upstairs to the balcony to take photos and on the balcony was an arch that had roses and a path with roses and candles. He got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Their parents came up to take photos and they all celebrated with a surprise engagement party!

Steven + Bianka were excited to become husband + wife, looking forward to all aspects of the day and celebrating their love. They had a beautiful ceremony at St Madeleine’s Sophie Barat Parish in Kenthurst, surrounded by their nearest and dearest to witness them making the most important commitment of their lives.

For our location photos, we took our bridal party to The Rocks, followed by Jones Bay Wharf for their reception where they partied the night away on the dance floor – and what a party it was!
