“So won’t you give me tonight and the rest of your life? I wanna have it all with you”
Thomas + Emily are childhood sweethearts after meeting at a gathering when they were 16. They immediately connected and fell in love.
Seven years later, Tom booked a special weekend away at Four Seasons in Sydney. Emily says:
“I asked one of my close friends, Rose, if she would kindly do my makeup for me in the morning. I went around to her house and she was very good at acting like nothing was going on. To me, this was just going to be a nice weekend together. When I returned home, Tom was wearing a jacket, despite it being about 28 degrees. This was the first sign that something was a little bit off. He then asked me to drive into the city, which of-course I didn’t mind but found it strange that he requested me to. It was quite a stressful drive with Tom telling me to “drive faster, we are late”. I was thinking, ‘late for what?’ haha! We checked in and Tom goes “lets go upstairs for a coffee”. Funny, as I do not drink coffee! All of a sudden these two doors open to a room and there was a huge “Will You Marry Me” sign with a red carpet, candles and flowers. It was the best moment of our lives so far. We will never forget it. I am blessed that Tom organised an event planner to make this moment so special and he even had a saxophone planner which is my favourite!”
Tom + Emily set about preparing for their wedding day, excited to finally get married and celebrate their love with their nearest and dearest.
They said their vows at St Benedicts Catholic Church in Chippendale and we then went for an editorial-inspired shoot around the city streets of Sydney. Tom + Emily celebrated their wedding reception at the divine Springfields House, a marquee venue in Sydney which was beautiful decorated and styled.
